I always thought that you had certain rights when renting? But it looks like when the owner of the apts is cenile and his manager has a coke problem they can do whatever they want to?
Well my story starts as this.
I was out of town due to surgery and my youngest son was watching my grandson. I called my son at 7:30 pm to check on them, they were just laying down to go to sleep. So i get a call from the apt manager at 9:15 (which i couldnt answere as i was in the shower when she called) she leaves me a message to call her imediatley as my son was seen in the parking lot and her boyfriend heard a crash and she followed my son to our apt, and he wouldnt open the door. So after i recieve the message from her at about 9:30 i call my son to see what is going on?
He is still asleep with my grandson (10 months old) i ask what is going on over there? He says mom what are you talking about?
I tell him about the call from the manager and he is totally shocked, mom i have been here with benjarmine sleeping what are you talking about? So i told him as soon as i get home we are going over there to settle this. So the minute i walk in the door, i get him and we go to the managers office. I tell robyn i want to know what happened? She says that her boyfriend (who she kicked out the same weekend) saw my son in the parking lot and her boyfriend heard a crash against something? She tells me he didnt see anything only heard it. So she says she followed the boys to my apt and they wouldnt open the door for her. So the next time i call to check on the statis at home my son informs me we have a eviction notice on our door. So when i ask her what exactly i am being evicted for she says she dont need probable cause?
So i get ahold of the owner and try to expain to the old cenile a* what is going on. He dont even listen to what i have to say he just starts off on a totally different subject, talking about the lawn? I asked him what are you talking about the lawn? That has nothing to do with what i am here for? Then he starts yelling how he is evicting everybody cause the lawn is getting messed up. Well first off i have only lived there for one month?
These apts are the worst oroville has to offer and they are roach infessted and i told robyn when i moved in that my doors dont lock? She says oh. And that was it. They dont take care of repairs and the place was totally trashed when we moved in. We cleaned and cleaned before we could move in. I had to make sure one of my kids was home at all time cause the doors dont lock. Even if they did lock, they are on wrong and the sliding glass doors can be taken right off of the tracks. So the whole place is a dump. We had to move real quick from my house when we moved do to a pending divorce, it was a snap disition (sorry about the spelling)
I took one of my friends with me when i went to speak with owner and i am so glad i did cause she also witnessed the unfair treatment i recieved. And she is just dumbfounded about the whole situation. If it was at all worth it i would get an attorney but its not worth the expense i would endure. So i love this site where you could warn others and let the culprets know they are being reported. There are allot of county codes being broke at this place and i have every intentions on reporting them also. I could totally understand if my son had actually done somthing, i would be the first to kick his a* but nothing was done and we have been totally evicted for no reason. I lived there for one month and in the first week my son comes home and tells me how the kids outside are telling him about watching the manager (robyn) doing cocaine and that she sells it also. I dont know this from personal experience but i have had a couple of the other tentants tell me the same about the manager and her friend Tina.
Robyn is a person who it seems never had any authority at anything so she needs to throw it around. The 105 year old man that owns the apts, has on many occasions taken off on vacations and not paid the power bill, so the power gets shut off. Yea he is a real winner. The old goat wouldnt even listen to me when i was simply asking what i was being evicted for? He starts complaining about the lawn? I asked what are you talking about the lawn? Then he goes off in a different direction??? He is too old to deal with, and she is too immature to deal with. So its a good thing that i am moving.
People like this need to be stopped. The tentants tell me about the old manager that ran the place, she did a great job and she was there for many years, the old guy fired her for no reason, just up and fired her. Well the next manger he hired ripped him off, was taking all rent paid in cash and pocketed it. So looks like he got what he deserves there. You just cant go doing good people wrong and expect nothing to happen eventually you get what you deserve. And they both will, unfortunatly i wont be around to see it. But i know enough people that i will hear all about it...
Mr james warren you are a very bad slumlord and i hope the county shuts down your roach infested, scummy apts down real soon. You know who i am and you havent heard the last of this either. I will trash you every chance i get. You just cant treat people like you have.
