This program was started to help the impoverished and those who struggle with groceries every month, but the only people they help are themselves and their "minority" pals. Just today, I, a person of Scandinavian heritage went to get my commodities and when I got there their all-black group "elected officials" saw that I, a white pierced heavy metal fan had walked through the door going through one of my bags of commodities "shifting" the bags to strip mine of anything of any nutritritional value and/or taste and then proceeded to fill it with Ramen noodles, which I cannot have due to the high salt/fat content and the fact that I have renal failure.
When I addressed this and asked why my bags were different than the ones I had seen my Black and Hispanic neighbors receive and why I was only receiving two rather than three, I was blasted with a rude response and told that I could take them and that my bags weren't any different than my neighbors' (which they most definitely were).
I then told them that I knew that they were giving perks to their little friends and that any of the junk they wanted to give me, I could easily buy at our local dollar store and that it was no favor to me that it was given, and told them that the next time I wanted to be treated like sub-standard white metalhead trash, I'd come down to get more "help" from them and then left.
I am not writing this report to get any monetary compensation or glory (which is why I will not be including my real name), but rather to expose the racism and hatebreeding that can occur in any race, not just the white race.
Moral of this story kiddies? There are non-white bigots and they can be and often are just as hateful as their white brethren, only not many people expose it.
