Yesterday I was at lunch and I got a call on my personal phone from a lady who said she was from Capital Financial and my information had been given to her from a lending institution that I had been turned down on a Credit Card because I had bad credit and They (CF) were calling to see if I would like to get my credit back on track with a special credit card. (FIRST OF ALL I KNEW THIS WAS NOT REAL BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE BEAD CREDIT AND I DON'T USE CREDIT CARDS ONLY DEBIT)
So I began to question everyhting that she said to me and she then said she was a branch of Capital One Credit Company. So I knew she was feeding me the bull and so THANKFULLY I never gave her any of the info that she asked for (ss#, credit card number, checking account, address) She finally hung up on me when I was un-cooperative.
I was mad so I called back when I got back from the restuarant and I never got through for about an hour. Someone answered the phone and just said "HELLO"! And I was confused because most companies do not just say "HELLO", I thought they would just say Capital Fin. But anyway. I told him what happen and he was very hateful and rude, he said he needed my address so he could look up my info and I refused, after about 1 hour of argueing with him he hung up.
I then called back and demanded an address and they hung up. I called back and did the same and they hung up. I then called back and asked for a 1800 number or another number and they gave me customer support #1888-281-6710. I did call and demanded an address I was on the phone with the rudest people I have ever talked to. The lady I was talking to came on and said that I needed to speak with her supervisor.
I was put on hold and then the same woman answered and said "supervisor!" and i yelled at her and carried on for about 10 minutes and then she hung up. *this is what you need to do! Anyone who has spoken with them, whether your like me and didn't get charged or whether you did, * call the florida attorney general (go to myfloridalegal) then send the fbi a crime tip!
Then contact Capital One and tell them this company is using there name falsely and then call your bank and then the Better Business Bureau and report to them that this company says they are associated with BBB. They are dangerous! Then call your local or even national media stations and tell them about this!
