This was the first "offer" I received right out of college so I was pretty excited. The office was located 1 1/2 hours from my college so I left at 6 AM for an 8 AM interview. The interview lasted 5 minutes and they asked my to come back for a full day interview the following week. Although a little annoyed, I agreed. When I came back, I was surprised to see 10 other people there also for an interview.
I was paired up with an employee and was told I would ride around with him to get a feel for the business. We began with 2 personal errands for himself, then spent the remainder of the day driving to "mom and pop" stores asking if they used SBC telephones! He never asked me any typical interview questions and basically bullshitted with me about college life! During lunch we discussed commission (I was told at the first interview that salary would be discussed, salary and commission are two totally different things.)
To my amazement, I paid for my own lunch! What company takes you out and does not pay. Bottom line, you basically need a heart beat to work with this company, they do not care if you are college educated or not. I was told they do not provide you with a vehicle (we drove about 100 miles the day I was there) and do not pay for gas! This interview was a huge waste of time. Beware college grads. Keep looking for a legitimate job.
