Primerica
Ripoff

Hello I was contacted by a representative of Primerica for a finicial management oppurtunity. They said that got my name from someone who just said they had to talk to me. But when I went to the meeting it was in a resturant. What a unusual place since she said that they were setting up offices in my area. So I went to the so called job interview/meeting and really wasnt presented with much.

It definitely wasn't a real interview. The two representatives that were there basically were talking to each other. They then offered me a GREAT OPPURTUNITY of 160,000 in three years and a chance to have my own office and three other remote offices.

I then questioned them about the whole Citigroup involvement because when the recruitor talked to me it was for a postion with citigroup. Well after I got to the interview and realized it was for another group I was a little discouraged. During the meeting the asked for my spouses name because obviuosally I had a ring on my finger.

When I told them his name they wanted him to come to the second part of the interview. I had never heard of this. I was kind of excited until I found out more by doing research on the company. We went to the second meeting which was the following night. It was supposed to give us more information on what I would be doing.in fact it didnt do that. The powerpoint/slideshow that they used basically consisted of reviews and bullshit that was taken from magazines and other businesses. It really made it hard for me to want to do anything.

After the meeting they handed both my spouse and I applications for our liscenses. They offered to take me to some meeting in Kansas City that started in like three days. It was like they didnt pay any attention to the fact that I had another full and part time job. I advised them that it was nice for them to offer that but I didnt have the money to go.

So my spouse and I asked about income and money. They pretty much found away to go around the questions that we asked. They even asked the two of us financial questions and were upset because we knew so much about finance already. Of course I am a finance major. (that is why they were interested in my? Right?)&THATS WHAT THEY SAID IN THE INTERVIEW&

Okay so we told them that we wanted to think about it. We filled out the paperwork and gave them our payment method and told them we would think about it and get in contact with them the next day. So the next day comes between our two phones in a one hour time period we had together 13 messages from the same representative. That got annoying fast they were calling until 10 pm at night. We have a family and have to sleep sometime plus we have to get up early in the morning. We are normal people.

The character reference list that they request is for them to find clients and they are very pushy! I gave them some close family members and the representative called them at 930 at night and pushed until they set up a meeting with them. HOW RUDE!!! She started the conversation out as I am checking on character references on % and %.

Finally after pushing so long the relative gave in. Later I get a call from another relative that said that she was rude and again pushy. They told her that we were good people and questioned the company. They offered to meet with her for a job oppurtunity! So my references are your new recruits! They then called the next relative at nearly 10 pm and asked for her and her husband answered and said that she was not available. The hung up when asked if they could help them. If this is such a great company then why cant they leave a message.

Please be advised for this company. We havent started class yet and are requesting that they not charge us. But that will be another fight.
