Cybersonic Replacment Brushes ripoff: Talk About Consumer Frud

My husband and I were watching a TV advertisement for cybersonic in April."Buy this wonderful toothbrush and receive 2 replacement brushes every 3 months free delivered to your door." WOW! We'd been talking about getting a good toothbrush like this from our dentist but we had just delivered our 3rd daughter one week prior and wasn't sure we could afford it but with free brushes & the ability to pay in installments the toothbrush would pay for itself in no time.

At least that's what Robert Urick said when he promoted this product. Not having ever purchased anything off the TV before, we decided to go for it. Little did we know what an ordeal it would turn out to be.

We received the toothbrush with 2 brush heads. Great! However, I noticed that we were charged the full amount of $109.70 right away, not in installments. Oh well, thank goodness we had the money in the bank.

We used the toothbrush for 3 months (even though my husband did not like it) and waited for the new heads to arrive, but they never came. I called and they said, "We're sorry but we have the wrong credit card number." Which we did have to change so I gave them the new number and waited. No brushes came. So, I called again and got a recording saying all operators are busy excepting other calls. Please call back later. When I called back I spoke to someone else. They said they were sorry and would send them right away alone with 2 more for my inconvenience. I said, "OK". Again I waited. No brushes.

Then I got my bank statement which said, "Cybersonic $4.65". So, I called. A man answered the phone and said he would have someone call me back. Surprise! No one called. I called again and could not get anyone.

Finally someone answered and told me the same thing as before along with 2 more extra brushes making that 6 in all. But of corse no brushes came. I kept calling and wasn't getting anywhere.

Finally I called my Father-in-law and asked him to talk to them because I'm just a little to soft. If anyone could get them, he could. He called but couldn't get through either and when he did he asked to speak with someone higher and was told he could not. Then knowing they were members of the better buisness bureau he threatened to report them but the person on the other end said, "I don't even know if we are members". Then he promised him he would send the brushes ASAP.

It is now April. My daughter turns One year old tomorrow. It's been 1 year and I have not seen 1 replacement brush. I see the commercials all the time and I want them to STOP! There are so many complaints but they still advertise it. Why does this continue? This toothbrush sits under my cabinet. I am unable to use it without brushes. I am upset not only because I got ripped off but because apparently so has hundreds of others. This isn't going to stop until someone hears us. PLEASE HELP!
