We purchased an expensive singer Lazer vacuum on 9/16/05, which was seen on tv infomercial. When it arrived via Fed-ex, we sent the box unopened to sender as we changed our minds. $319. Was taken out of our account on 9/19/05.
Called Singer at 800-711-8357 in early October and was told they received it and a credit has been requested. End of October came, called again was on hold for 45 minutes only to be told it had been issued but it takes ten days or so. I called again in early November, on hold yet again for 45 minutes. Was again told Credit had been isued, and they assumed it would go through. When I asked what that meant, I got hung up on. I called again end of November (on hold again for 50 minutes) only to be put in a bogus supervisor mailbox. I zeroed out to an operator and she hung up on me. Todate, 12/13/05, I have yet to see the creedit and have filed a claim with Bank of America, which they are investigating. Never have we encountered such a rip off company in our lives. I can't even find a www.singerlazor.com website. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
