I ordered the Singer Lazer Storm Vacuum on September 17 or 18. The TLC infomercial offer was buy one Singer Lazer Storm Vacuum get one free and get a free Singer Steamer plus shipping. I asked to have my payment for the vacuum to be the three monthly payments of $39.99 that was advertised on the infomercial.
But, what I got was four Singer Lazer Storm vacuums and charged $293.90 (full price) at one time for them.
I have tried calling repeatedly with holding for hours and no answer the phone eventually disconnects. I have further become more increasingly irritated by the teleservice that was used because they were less than helpful with any questions I had (maybe because it is located in India!).
I got an e-mail from Singer Lazer Storm customer care to expect a response in 24 hours. Ha!!! Try 192 hours and still no response. I want my money to be refunded but I am nervous about sending them back and getting stuck with the bill. If anyone has had a similar experience with this company please post it so I can send a copy to my credit card company and stop these rip-off artists.
P.S. You can buy this product from LTD Commodities for one payment of $59.00. I wish I would have found this before I paid $293.90.
