I log into my music store account on Sony's connect service. I see that in my account I have 41 song credit. So I decide to buy the new Switchfoot album Nothing is Sound. I also notice that it is Tuesday so I can take advanted of the 2 - for - 1 deal. I click each individual track in the album which amounts to 12 tracks. Knowing that I have 41 song download credit I expect those to cover these.instead, when I click my account after I purchased it (note that it gave me no warning about a purchase or any thing or a possible charge) i see that I owe them 11.99. THey scammed me because the individual tracks can be used for credit but if you individually select each song it will assume you want the whole album which is not covered by credit. So i have to pay and unauthorized charge of 12 dollars and my credits remain unused. I explain this to the incompetent Sony customer service guy and he keeps making me retype the same problem over and over. It takes 30 minutes for me to type such a thing and he doesn't even read it. Also he is rude and has no understanding of the English language. He sent me bribes of MORE USELESS FREE SONG CREDITS to stop emailing him because he does not have the time to help me. I call the office and this guy picks up and tells me that he cannot do anything because that customer service guy was assigned to my case. Its funny because the guy who picked up could look up my file and understand everything but refused to help me. So i am left here hopeless with an unauthorized charge to my debit card. To make matters worse, SOny sent me a fake code for the 2-for-1 offer that didnt work. THis is ridiculous so this is my vengence here. The name of the customer service guy who helped me is Steven, he seems to be very stupid and I promise that if he ever tries to apply for another job I will personally forward this report to his employer. So Sony Connect Music Store, if you want to give me back my money, i'll happily take down this report, yes Steven Im talkin to you. SOny has just lost another customer to iTunes. Long live the IPOD.
