Thomas Y. Shin is a deadbeat dad. Our daughter is now 17 and he's $12,490 in arrears. He owns a premier sportsfishing lodge on the Kenai Peninsula plus several properties and restaurants in and around Anchorage.
She'll be starting college soon, but I don't hold out hope of him helping her. I've paid for everything (minus his Permanent Fund the State of Alaska sends me each year).
I've paid for all her medical bills (recently, she had lymphoma), all the dentist, normal kid ailments as well.
He's never paid for any clothing or even given her birthday or Christmas presents her entire 17 years.
Yeah, I believed him when he said he would "always be there." Yeah, I'm sniveling... But this is a word of warning to anyone who wants to conduct business with him and/or become emotionally involved with him.
Do so at your own risk because a man that doesn't support his children is a man with no integrity.
