Jason Anthony Cooper is in over $56,000 dollars debt to me and our kids. He has only voluntarily sent one payment of $400.00 in over a 5 year period and before that maybe a 2 to 3 times a year. He hasn't had physical contact for over 2 and a half years. The children have had constant contact with his family by my (mother) doing. I have never been compensated for gas or plane tickets for this. He has lived in the Bahamas, Boca Raton, and has even traveled to Europe a few times while I have been our childrens sole support.
He has never given medical coverage for them. This I have covered for almost 12 years. The last contact he had with his kids was a phone call telling them they were going to have a baby sister. That was last Christmas. Before that he threatened his mother's life (which is all documented by the Balsam Lake Police Department) because they were spending spring break with her as I work full time and needed someone to watch them. He is not remarried to this unfortunate native Alaskan girl. There is nothing else I can do.
The state of Alaska will not incarcerate him for failure to pay. What about the neglect and emotional abuse he has done to the kids? Shouldn't he have to pay for that as well? I think so! These people who don't take care of their children should be tried and convicted as a felon and not be allowed to be in society to father more children and enjoy life's pleasures while their first kids go with out.
He fishes in Alaska and gets paid under the table as no employer has been submitted through the Child Enforcement Agency. Tha e Captian who is allowing this should come forward and trun him in. He is a liar and a thief. Something needs to change in the state of Alaska so these men who care nothing but themselves be held responsible.
