A teenager who claimed he lived in the neighborhood came to my door and said he was selling books from this company to finance his baseball team's trip to Tokyo to compete internationally. He said he'd just moved to the neighborhood, that his mother walked her dog on my street, etc., etc., that he would come back and wash my car to prove his sincerety, and on and on. Wishing to help him, I agreed to purchase $162 worth of books which were to be delivered in about 120 days.
A few days after this transaction occurred, I read in my local newspaper that this company, Ultimate Power Sales, Inc., was ripping off customers all over the country by using teenagers with deceptive sales pitches and then not delivering the purchased goods. BEWARE of innocent-looking teenagers hawking stuff. They will rip you off in a heartbeat.
