My mother was on the internet when a pop-up for a winner coupon appeared. She called the company-starr-getaways - and asked for the conditions. It was a winning coupon for a trip to florida. They requested her credit card number as an essential element for the reservation of her trip. She gave them my credit card number.
When they told her she had to pay all the extras she decided that she didn't want to accept this offer. She insisted and comfirmed that she wasnt interested in their offer.
About 5 days later I discovered that the amount of 382 euros had been withdrawn from my account by a company in florida. We called the customer service and they replied that a refund will be made within ten days after they had listened to a tape of my mothers comfirmation of not wanting the offer. Unfortunately the refund has never been made
We tried to call afterwards several time only to land on an answering machine. We sent an email as well but no reply has been given to us.
