In Fall of '04, we purchased two ATVs from Doro without any problems. We decided to buy another ATV and wired $1999 to Doro Motors on June 1 of '05. Ben Vaughn at Doro said product would ship the next day. After one week, and a follow up with the shipping company (who had no knowledge of the shipment), we began calling Doro Motors regarding the shipment status of the ATV. After 2 weeks, no one was answering the phones at Doro, and the email said they would be providing tracking info soon. After 3 weeks, we were told they were filing for bankruptcy, yet were still trying to deliver product.
The most recent email indicated that they were "trying to refund our money very soon so it did not get tied up in bankruptcy court".
Any suggestions on how we might go about getting our money back would be greatly appreciated.
