I worked for Corwen Management Inc. For about three days. I answered an ad in the newspaper saying they needed CRAZY PEOPLE for 18 positions. When I went to the interview I was told I could manage an office in 4-8 weeks. I made the second interview and went to training. We had a speech about the history of the company, the position (little of that), and contest. From the manager, Corey, I was told that we will have a contest for today to sell perfume to a family and friend for a little extra money (sell the bottle for $28 and keep the $8), but later on he kept extending the contest. Until I finally I realize that the so-called "senior manager" were still selling bottles.
In order to get a promotion you will have to sell a certain amount of bottles. When I was in training, I went with 2 other FNP (F*ing new person) and a Senior manager to sell outside. We went to a mall where we were thrown out for soliciting. Yet I was told we had a license... If that was true then why was I kicked out! Another example that they are a con-business is on my first day I came in the office building earliar than the time alluted to sell bottles with my bottles and Bibles (our notes) in hand. My manager quickly escorted me to his office before all the possible employees could see what I was actually carrying.in the office he chastise me for being early and told me that I was messing up his business... ALL BECAUSE I CAME EARLY!!! Then he tells me to answer calls since I was early..
While answering the calls, people who were already there for an interview were asking me questions about the job. I was told to direct all questions to Corey. Matter of fact, all Senior manager and asst. Managers weren't allowed to answer any questions but to direct them to Corey. He was afraid that they may tell me something wrong. What is that!!! If you work for a company you should know its whereabouts and be able to answer any questions... No matter what.
When I decided to quit, Corey basically said he didn't need me and that I'm taking advice from my mom (works for the IRS) is a mistake. He basically said my mom is broke and struggling and if I quit this job I will be the same.in reality all successful business struggle. I live with my parents in a 3 story home and I never had to think twice about buying anything. He said that going to college is a mistake since I will get a degree but no job. He also told me that if I want a 6 figure salary I need to stay with the company.
I decided to quit right then and there. He offended me more than once. THe business is a secret to future emoployees or independent contract... You won't know entirely everything about the business until you catch on yourself. Most people don't found out the business is a fraud until later... But they will be stuck because they have already quit there previous jobs. The contract signed isa fraud... My contract was homemade Microsoft word produced. It had misspelling and etc. Also it was very bland. I am warning anyone who is coming across this report to stay away...
