Scentura is the biggest scam ever. Trust me I know. I was one of them. I was stupid to believe everything that they told me. I was there for 2 years. I finished training in 6 months instead of the 6 weeks that they promised. I did though become an owner, just not my own owner.
I still had to answer to my regional managers (Kim Aceste & Chris Rose) and when they quit for a while and left me alone, their regional managers started to take over my business (Don Waleski & Karen). They ripped me off. Let me explain. After my regionals quit and my partner I was solo. Don & Karen forced someone on me to be my partner. I didn't trust this person at all. Then they said that she has to handle all of my money and merchandise and if I didn't like it that I had 2 choices deal with it or blowout (quit, as per Don).
Eventually the forced me out of my office and told me that I had to go back to training. Basically to sell product for them. They weren't making any money off of me when I was in my office (overrides). It's hard to explain, but if you want me to then contact me and I'll give you all the information. I stood in the company after that for about 2 months saving so I could open up again.
After a while I realized that this was bullsh*t and that everything was never going to change. They are always going to tell me what to do and that if I continued with this company that I would be in debt for the rest of my life. The company is based on commission sales only. There is no contract for $30,000 a year. 95% of the promises that they make you are lies. I did go to Las Vegas. The way that they paid for it was that I had to do a certain amount of sales to pay for the trip. Anyway back to the story. They kept my money that I was saving and never even tried to give it back to me.
I want these places to be shut down. Especially in NY. I know everything about the company. I know all the scripts that they use in order to pull you in to their office and have you sell perfume for them. I know the 1st & 2nd interviews, and Orientation (contest). I know them word for word. I know all the meetings that they give you in the morning before you go out and sell perfume for them.
They are used to JUICE you up so you could sell more. It's all a pitch. I know the 5&8 steps, $78,000 meeting, 100,000 meeting, and word meetings. I know it all by heart. I've done it all. SO PLEASE, BEFORE YOU MAKE A DECISION ON WHETHER TO DO THIS BUSINESS OR NOT PLEASE CONTACT ME AND ASK ME ALL THE QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE!!! I don't want anyone to go through the same thing that I went through. There's alot more that went on but it's too much to list on this forum.
