This month of January I was hired as Office Manager with Scentura Creations/Harewood & Elie Management, training Center. I went in with 12 other people for the first day of training thinking that I would be getting training for an office position. Ms. Harewood told me and others that we would be getting our own office and that we would be making $30,000 a year to hire people to sell perfume/cologne for there company.
I was also told that I would be given medical benefits and paid vacation along with a company car.in order for me to keep this position they had to do a crimanal report on me because I would be handling a large sum of money, so I had to give them my social securtiy number and state ID. Only to find out that on my first day of training I walked into a class full of singing. I asked why do they do all of this singing and I was told that it was to get you motivated.
On my second day I was told tht I had to go into the marketing to see what my employees would be doing and observe how they work. So me and four other people one was a trainer and the rest where new people like myself, thinking that we were going to be office managers. Well to make a long story short, I found out that every day that while I was in training I had to go to Malls and sell perfume to people and I was also being told to look out for the police and security gaurds.
I did not like the fact that I was being chased out of the mall like a criminal because I was peddling perfume that I was told, that was legal to do. I was also told that I was going to get paid anywhere from $100-$250 while I was in training and training was going to last for 4 to 7 weeks. I did not get paid because when pay day came around I was told that I only get paid from my donations and sells that I get from the (GUMPS) that is what they where calling the consumers.
These people need to be put to a stop because they are lying and manipulating people into thinking that they are going to become their own office managers but they half to be willing to go out into the public and lie to others and sell fake perfume. I did not get that choice to make weather or not if I wanted to be doing that kind of business, because I was lied to about be a office manager. They are not professional at all the meetings are full of singing crazy songs and using slang words and cursing alot.
I know people that quit their other jobs to work with these people thinking that they would have a chance to have a better career in life and the worst part they are targeting at young people who are looking for a good job. They put you under pressure to sell this cologne or go out into the maketing as they say to get your office.
If you put it in their words the Strongest will survive, and that is not the case. Because when they hire you they tell you a bold face lie. If you are in this company called Sentura Creations please get out while you can because all you is going to get is stuck with disappointment.
