It all started when me and my fiance' moved from our apartment to our first home to rent. We paid about 1500 dollars just to get into the home, but we were new at the renting situation, so we thought that was normal. The landlords seemed very nice, and when we were about to sign the rental agreement. We didn't read it because the landlords said, oh its long, just skim through it. So, being trusting we thought there wouldnt be anything that bad in the document, so we signed it.
Little did we know that was the beginning of a big disaster. I being pregnant, didn't need the stress the stupid bit* landlords began putting on us. When the guys who came to fix all the problems the house had told them we had a cat, and that my fiance's brother was living with us. Well excuse me but things come up, and not everything is in the rental document.
So they came up with that it would be 400 for my small cat to be there, and 150 extra a month for my fiance's homeless brother to stay until he saved money to go on his own. We explained our situations and still they had no heart about it all, and soon with all the extra stuff, it was going to be no less than 1400 a month to live there!!!
We were both thinking it was time to get out of there before we were in debt. My fiance is the only source of income, since I am pregnant, and that was more than his whole check for two weeks! How am I suppose to take care of my child with people like this trying to rip us off?
We made numerous attempts to call them about problems with the house, and no response at all. The previous tenants smoked in the house, and after not even a month the nicotine started seeping through the walls in the bathrooms, completely noticable! So I called and left a message and they came to look at it, and never came to wash it.
We waited until we had another home before we gave notice but we were two days too late for the 20 day deadline. But we needed out of there. We had already paid 1/3 of the last months rent, when that wasn't in the rental document, they just told us we had to. And now they say they want the rest of the rent. Oh man, the last day we walked through the house, was a disaster! They called us names, and said we sure are glad you are gone! And just curse this curse that! It was pathetic.
I just really want people to know that Penny carter, and Jorja carter, are greedy bloodsucking bit*es, and no one should rent their house, unless they want to be ripped off. They drive around mercedes cars, and they can't even let someone who is homeless stay with their tenants? How shi*y is that? So beware of these people in Vancouver Washington! Don't make the mistake me and my family had to pay for! Aand if anyone can help me get them, please contact me!!
