An employee working for Staffline for more than 6 month lost wallet including his picture ID. The company refused to allow the employee to pick up his check in person, although, a member of their hiring management staff validated that he was in fact who he reported to be and that he had worked the hours that were reported.
When the employee ask to have his check mailed and offered to even have it sent via registered certified mail; the company refused claiming that it may get lost in the mail.
The employee is still working on at a temp assignment for Staffline, however, he now faces a crisis of not having enough money to get back and forth to work.
Although, it could be several weeks before the employee gathers enough documentation to get a new picture ID, Staffline refuses to afford him the courtesy of mailling his paycheck for the hours he has already worked.
Excuse me, but aren't checks sent through the mail everyday, if only to avoid excess traffic throughout the payroll offices of companies all throughout the world.
This is a bit of bad business! Especially since this employee is still faithfully reporting for his temp assignment. How long can he even continue to do that without his paycheck.
