Ripoff dishonest liars

I had applied for a job with AM Marketing in February. When I applied I was told by the owner, Andrea, that it was a salary commission job which would amount to at least $28,000 yrly. (As stated in the Monster.com ad that I applied to) AWESOME! I was very excited and hoped that I would get the call back at 5:00pm that evening if I was to be hired. Well, I got the call. I was told that I should come in on Monday and have a 2nd interview which would require me to go out on a full day with one of their top leaders. I went out with an awesome guy who as the day progressed told me that it was in fact a commission only job. Ok, no problem. Business to Business marketing seemed easy; yes you may get some no's but as with any job you will get yes's and the commissions seemed pretty great so I accepted the job.

My first day was good. I did notice that the office was continually dwindling down with people, you would see some there one day and the next they would be gone. Which seemed kind of odd to me, but then I chose to ignore it.

You spend the first 4 days training and then after that you are on your own. I progressed pretty quickly, 8 days in I became a trainer/leader. That is when it went down hill. I was already working long hours - 7:30AM - 6:30PM, and then as a leader your hours became 7:00AM - 8:00PM, sometimes later if Andrea dragged her feet because even if you were finished with all of your work, you couldnt leave without her saying that you could. (Which I thought was rather odd but OK)

As a "leader" you get to start building your team, which you needed in order to become an assitant manager, or a salary commision position. Sounds good, but as a leader you then are required to fork out even more money than just as a trainee. (From spending $ on gas, vehicle repair, and lunch - to spending money on their lunch too - and you get to travel up to 2 hours away and no reimbursement for mileage or the 2nd interviews lunches, since it was an "investment" in our business)

I also found out that as a leader you have to deal with Andrea's crap - she is very controling and never wrong even when you can prove that you are right in a matter. I also started noticing that some of my sales were not getting on my check and I wasnt getting any of my referrals that my previous clients were telling me that they sent in - other leaders in the office noticed the same thing.

Then we found out why. Andrea was taking out leads and going and closing them herself and making the money instead of passing them on to us. Now I was closing on avg $500 wkly income, but I was only seeing $300 wkly coming in since some were "pending" and once you figure in gas, wear and tear on the vehicle, and food, I was only netting about $175 a week. Well after 8 weeks of the worst job I ever had I finally quit. But see it doesnt end there. The paychecks come in 2 weeks after you make a sale. So I noticed that I had some money missing as well. But I was informed that it was my problem, but I am sure I know where it is... All in Andrea's pocket.

I also got cussed out via the phone when I called her and asked where my money was, but I was told that I had not gotten paid via something I had done which was a bunch of lies on her part, and then she started accusing me of a bunch of stuff that never happened and when I asked her how she could prove that I had done that, she never would tell me and eventually hung up on me. (Not after though threating to call her lawyer - which is a bunch of empty threats and lies)

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF THE PARENT COMPANY'S - Cydcor - EVER! It was the worst job opprurtunity I ever had!!!
