To whom it may concern,
A while ago I was contacted by telephone with an offer to open a pre-approved master card account with promise of a free desktop computer. They required me to give them $350.90 to cover processing, fees and shipping of the computer. When i received their package, I discovered that I would be required to purchase 36 months of People's internet, $840.00, in order to receive the computer. And I received an offer for a 'Stored Value' credit card.
When I called to get my money back, the representativ told me that I had agreed to terms and conditions and that they would not return my money. Not to mention he was very rude. This was not what I was offered, and I did not by any circumstances agree to any of those terms and conditions. So, I feel very strongly that I should and would get my money back.
They claim to have my voice recording agreeing to all of their terms and conditions, but these are false claims. And when I asked to hear the recording, or speak to their manager, they said that i was not getting my money back, and denied my request to speak to a manager.
