I received a call from someone who said they were from a company called Amerigreet. They offered me a vacation package to Florida for 4 people for an unbelievably low price of $39.00.
This was to include passes to Universal Studios, a stay in Coco Beach, and this included airfare, and hotel. I knew this sounded too good to be true, but they really had me convinced. I have since tried to contact them to no avail. The phone rings busy no matter what time of day. They said they were a new website, and this was a promotional offer.
They had withdrawn the 39.00 from my account, and I have since closed the account. I received a bank statement that shows they tried to bill me an additional $11.90, but could not due to the closed account. I never authorized any additional funds to be withdrawn.
