I was actually a bit nervous about using PODS because I read a number of very, very bad reviews complaining about missed deadlines, sketchy billing, bad customer service, etc., etc., etc. I'm happy (and relieved) to report that I didn't experience any of that.
It was easy to get a quote, the quote was comparable to other services I looked into, and in the end, the cost of the whole thing turned out to be slightly less than I was quoted.
The deliveries and pick-ups were all on time, except for the delivery to my new location, which was just a couple of hours behind because of an equipment failure.
The drivers were courteous and friendly. The driver who was late was actually working past the end of his shift (according to him) and still spent a good hour plus trying to get the POD into my very small, tricky driveway.in the end, we weren't able to get it in there, but he tried every trick in the book to do it - I give him full credit for effort, and for finding a place on the street that was convenient when we couldn't get it in the driveway.
Overall, everything was pretty much as advertised. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did. I'm very happy and would definitely use PODS again.
