I recently completed a local residential move with PODS in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. We rented two 16X8 PODS to store our household goods, furniture and appliances. The PODS were clean and met our needs. It was very convenient to load the POD and eliminated the hassle of moving items twice. The timing of the deliveries of both PODS was right on time. While the delivery of the first POD went smoothly, the delivery of the second POD did not. The driver broke my concrete driveway as he moved one of the wheels on the rig from the lawn to the driveway. This occurred the day before we were to close on the sale of the house. It cost me $1,090 to repair the damage. PODS has been notified of the damage, and said they would send a Supervisor to look at it, but I have yet to hear anything. The driver who had only been on the job for 4 weeks didn't even apologize for the damage. I requested that PODS not send that driver back for pickup, but the same person picked up my empty pod and delivered the second POD from storage.
