Anti-Consumer Company Policy

I paid my bill as required, on-line and on time.

Two weeks later received a notice of service interruption due to a past due payment.

I called, and come to find out, they had made an error and rejected my payment. The customer service rep said the notes indicated I had been notified - which i had not been.

She then proceed to tell me the amount was due, and if I didn't pay within 3 days, my service would be disconnected.

I said, first I'll pay the bill today, but I asked don't you agree that threatening me with service cancellation due to an error WOW made, is ridiculous?

She got very defensive, and said she was just stating the facts, that it's all computer generated and there's no-way to stop it!

Oh really?! Now there's a warm and fuzzy feeling. You make a mistake, we'll cancel your service. We make a mistake, and we'll cancel your service.

Sounds like they're more concerned with canceling my service than keeping it!
