Metro Access Driver Tried To Put Disabled Cancer Patient off of Bus

On behalf of my cousin, me and my other cousin pitched in during our furloughed time off and my mother on her retired income and paid $90.00 for my cousin to get back and forth to his medical appointments now that we had to return to work. Since his diagnosis, he has become disabled and the brain tumor has left him disabled. The driver told him that the GW Hospital address did not exist and to get off the bus @ 725 H street (Chinatown). My cousin fell on that bus twice and the drive didn't buckle him in. He called us on the cell phone and we told him to call the police or ambulance until we could get to him. The driver refused to speak with my cousin doctor and said get off of my bus. I finally reached a dispatch @ metroaccess and she located him and told me they took him home and not to chemotherapy. I am appalled and outraged that this company, which I believe is partially subsidized by the state and federal government, can treat disabled persons in this manner. I, we, want to know how this could have happened. No one has contacted me nor his doctor yet. Services have not been rendered in a satisfactory manner. The next day they were two hours late in picking up my cousin from his chemotherapy appointment. If we had of know this was the type of service being rendered, we would have went some where else. Funds are too tight to be treated like dirt by a so called reputable agency.
