You would be better off calling the hotel directly. I was charged $148 for a hotel room through Expedia. When I received my bill at checkout it was for $122. My credit card was charged $148. I also added on a night at the hotel and was still charged $122 by the hotel directly.
After writing to expedia - they could care less — They would not credit me the difference because the "best price guarantee" is the "published" rate of the hotel.
So they lost a customer for $26.
