I finally received my free phone after 1 month. It arrived working only on speakerphone. I decided to do a factory data reset on the phone thinking this would fix the problem. I am now without a working phone and cannot contact anyone to help me reprogram the phone. The customer service department is non-existant. There is no way to get a human being on the line. I was so glad to get my new phone, but now I'm pissed. They sent me a LG LS670/Optimus-s which is a fairly decent Smart Phone, but who wants to talk on speakerphone all the time. I sent the company an email because that is the only way to get customer support, let's see how long it takes to get this problem fixed. I wish I would have known that Virgin Mobile has Lifeline Services, I would have gone with them.
