I paid $200 for an "unlimited" storage account to store the vast amount of photographs I take. After approximately 6 months of service and over 1.5 TB files uploaded to their cloud, I received a notice saying that they were closing my account and that I had to "upgrade" to a business account. I am not doing any commerce from their site, and these are personal photographs.in closing my site, they cited Sections 4,14, 15 & 23 of their Fair Use Policy, which basically says they will close my account if I use it for storage of Pornography (they are photos of race boats), or if the Metadata indicates that it is copyrighted material... The photos are all my own, and there was a video that I created for a friend's memorial (which has since been taken down). I do not feel that I have violated their Fair Use Policy, yet they state they "have the sole discretion to ask you to move plan type and there is nothing we can now do to prevent the above actions taking place."
To me, this just seems like a way to attempt to get more money out of me and is a total scam.
I am pursuing this with the Better Business Bureau and the Washington State Attorney General's Office for their review.
