Vehicle needs a harmonic balancer that is covered on warranty, however since there's not a bolt in the balancer they won't repair the vehicle
Customer Service at Warranty Direct says that there is a bolt that holds the harmonic balancer to the crank of the vehicle. Well that bolt is gone. I don't know where, when, or how. As soon as my vehical showed a battery light and check engine light I stopped and called Warranty Direct to began the process of fixing the vehical. It has been 2 weeks now and I'm now finding out on this day of 08/06 that they do do not think the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer to the vehical and the crank shaft is not part of the repair and the bolt being gone is not covered under my contract. Even though the mechanic at the repair facility says that due to the harmonic balancer failing is most likely what caused the bolt to strip and be lost. So now I have a vehical that needs fixed that I can't affored and I am paying on a warranty in the amount of $2200.00 that seems is a rip off and they find any little excuse to not have to pay for a repair. I spoke with a customer support rep named Buddy. I asked him multiple times that I wanted to speak with his manager as he stated he was the manager. I was very frustrated at this point, so I call the corporate office in Atlanta. They sent me back to the same rep Buddy. At this time after speaking with him multiple times he finally sent me to his higher up witch I had to leave a voice message and wait for their return phone call. At this point I have had the automatic payment deduction from my bank account that pays for their services stopped until this can be resolved, or a refund of my payments to Warranty Direct is issued. I still have not heard from a member of management from the company

PLEASE READ!!! Save your money!!! This place is a complete ripoff. I spoke with a Tom and a Brittney this morning, neither person could put me through to a manager or higher power employee. However Brittney did admit to me that warranty direct is a waste of time and money for services that they will always find a way around to not have to pay for. I have cancelled my contract and unfortunately I will not get 100% refund. Either way it goes they will get your money and your vehical will not be repaired. I hope other people read this, so maybe they won't be ripped off. Please don't waste your money!!!
