I purchased a warranty from Warrentech when I bought a vehicle on 12/12/07. On 1/10/08, as per instructions from Warrentech, I brought the vehicle to a local Firestone. Firestone diagnosed a sensor, harmonic balancer, intake manifold gasket and motor mounts. All the parts are covered under the warranty.
After 7 days, the adjustor finally sent the report to Firestone, denying everything except the sensor. There excuse was "pre-existing conditions". How can they even know that? I am sure this is there excuse for denying most of there claims. I would be interested to see the percentage of claims that they allow.
I would strongly recommend that no one uses this company. Their warranty is not worth the paper that it is printed on. I still have $1500 in repairs that are needed on the car, and after 8 days, I still do not have a vehicle.
