Was ordering internet services through time warner cable and did not know i was going through a third party vender who insisted i get a top of a wireless router through techzilla which cost 69.99 but with there 69.99 rebate i would only pay 14.95 for S&H.
So i recieved the router and downloaded the rebate form and read it closely. It states that i must redeem the rebate within 30 days of purchase of the router. Had no problem with that but in the guidlines for documentation needed, techzilla requested that i submit the oridgina proof of purchase via order confirmation reciept and obtain a copy of your first full months service bill from the provider reflecting activation of qualifying services ordered from QologyDirect. So basically that screwed me over because i never order services from QologyDirect, just time warner cable internet services. Secondly the rebate is bogus because you have to wait 30 days anyways for your full month service bill and techzilla only gives you 30 days to redeem the rebate so you cant send the requirements on time to get your rebate.
Lastly, the techzilla 69.99 routeris the worst wireless router i have ever dealt with. Cant stay on a wireless network without getting kicked off every 15 mins. Had to dig through my storage and bust out my 2004 Linksys router to use. Ever since i used my linksys router, i have had no problems with my devices getting booted off the internet.
Techzilla are scammers claiming to give rebates and provide top of the line products when in fact they are (Inappropriate Content Removed).
