As of today he owes $6450.00. I sent him a certified letter letting him know how much he owed again gave my address and phone number. He never reaponed of course. The holidays has come and go and not even a call to say Merry Christmas to his son. Our son called him the 16th of Dec and the deadbeat had enough balls to ask my son what he wanted for Christmas. How dare him, fully knowing he never intended to send a damn thing. Besides that it woulld have never reached him in time. But what makes my blood boil is that had my son not called him his father would never have called him at all. Hell he hadn't called in over a year.
December 26, I called deadbeat and gave him the riot act and conoveyed to him how I sorry he was to not even call our son to wish him a Happy Holiday. No mention of the child support at all. But I did say it was the least he could to be a half wasy decent father. His response, "I don't have time for this shit". Sounds like guilt to me. He gave no other response but this one and he repeated several times.
Well, I had a process server serve him a summons for court for non-support and arrears payment. Also a modification to increase the amount. This will surely get his attention. The great part of it all is... Guess where the porcess server is located. Yes, you gussed it 700 E 4th Street, Mecklenburg County Sheriffs office. He works 801 E4th Street, Mecklenburg County Sheriff Office, no doubt the officers know oneanother. For him to be served at his job is ironic.
So we will have our day in 15 February in New York. My guess is he will not show up. But I expect a call shortly trying to make a plea. But I'm sure I "won't have tim for the shit".
I also found out his jobs starting salary is $30,444.00, he's been working there at least 6 years now.
