James David Roberts has not paid a dime in child support in 9 years. The original support order was issued on January 5,1996 for the amount of $460. Oo monthly. It was only paid sporatically (from Feb. To Nov. 1996 and Aug. 1997 and the last in Oct. 1997) in the first 2 years.
In October I went to court on this matter. James Roberts never showed up although he did call and harrass the court. The Judge issued a warrent. My county (Limestone) sent the warrent to his county (Madison) and I heard nothing else.
In February I called the warrent dept.in Madison County and was told the warrent was sent back to Limestone after not being served for 60 days. I called Limestone County and requested it be sent back to Madison.
After it went back to Madison, I called Madison and asked that it be served and was told that Madison had 5000 of it's own warrents to serve and wasn't going to go to the trouble of serving another county's warrent.
The amount of arrears he nows owes is $53,580. Oo. I do not know how to get help from the legal system here. I went thru the child support agency to get the October court hearing.
