A salesman came to our home with a great story of how wonderful their educational books and website work together. He led me to believe that once the books were purchased, the website would be available as part of the deal. There was never any mention of additional cost for use of the internet services yet when my books were delivered and I tried to log on to the site, I found out that I had been signed up for $20/month recurring payments without my knowledge or consent. The salesman never gave any contact information for himself, and of course the company refuses to take responsibility for the dishonest transaction, calling it a "misunderstanding." Where was the "misunderstanding" when I was signed up for monthly payments of something without my knowledge or consent?
