Prepaid the company for a move out clean. My husband was in the basement with a stomach flu and when he did a walk through of the house he found furniture turned over, mop streak marks and wet drips all over the floors, dust everywhere, sinks weren't cleaned, etc. I have phoned and emailed for two days straight with no reply. As soon as I mentioned that I made a complaint to Visa and Service Alberta, I received a phone call within 10 minutes stating that they would get to the bottom of the issue. Still have not heard back. Every city in Canada has a consumer protection department. I was told that if enough complaints are made about a business then they will do something about it.
