My wife had been hired by Barry Promotions to give out samples, food products in our local Shop-Rite. My wife was used to fill in for others when they did not work. At our expense we even purchased items needed to give out food samples, we purchased plates, spoons, a table and a heating pan to keep the samples warm for the customers. We were supposed to be reimbursed when my wife would be paid. But this never happened. Towards the end of 2004 Barry Promotions quickly withdrew from sampling in Shoprite for no apparent reason.
I have called to inquire as to when my wife would get paid. I was told the Dec 22nd they should get paid from Shoprite... I spoke with Shoprite they had no idea what had been happening. Now when I call Barry Promotions they leave their answer machines going. My wife has 7 days work coming to her and reimburstment monies but she will not likely see it. I want all to know that Barry Promotions has went through the tactic of recruiting workers to do work for them and then not pay them. That is pretty low in my book. Any who have had this happen should relate their stories as well. Expose these Crumbs... Debbie is one of them and Megan is another..
