I had applied for a job posting I saw on onemodelplace.com by KIS Promotions. They were looking for models to do promotions for KOOL Cigarettes and promised to pay $30/hr.
Lana Rae from KIS Promotions called me to ask me if I could work some promotions in New York at these clubs: Copa Cabana on 06/09/06, Branch on 06/10/06 and Strata on 06/16/06. She also told me that KOOL pays pretty quickly and I would most probably get a check in a week's time. I worked 4 hours each on these promotions.
It is now August and I haven't heard a word from her. I tried calling many times and sent emails but there was no response.
When I initially started to call her, her phone wasn't accepting any voicemail, so I paged her phone. This was going on for a few weeks. There was still no response. I then sent out the email, still no response. Finally I called her phone again and I was able to leave a message. No response.
