SC Law Group was handling my HAMP request to my mortgage servicing company and I can’t contact anyone there. I have spoken with my mortgage company directly so I could start to make my trial monthly payments. I've made numerous attempts to reach out and left numerous voice mails, none of which were returned. The web site is down so I have to assume for whatever reason that the company has ceased to operate. If I hadn't proactively contacted my mortgage servicing company, I would have been foreclosed on 8/6. Additionally, I was told at the outset that they would not only get my interest rate down to 2% but, would also get a principle reduction. They didn’t tell me that the principle reduction wasn’t available in Texas and my mortgage company would only get my mortgage to 4%.in short, I was lied to. I was expecting full service legal representation for all of the money that I sent to them.
