I was given a NuWave Precsion induction cooktop on June 26 as a gift. I read the insturuction booklet and watched the video. I was unable to get the NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop to operate. I would only get a "E1" error message. I made CERTAIN that I was using the correct type of pan, in fact I went to the store and purchsed a new iron cooking skillet in the exact size recommended with the making on the bottom indication it would work on induction cooktops. I also made certain my NuWave was on a level surface. I called the company requesting that they allow me to return the defective unit for one that works and was told I'd have to return it to the "giver"! This is not acceptable. Can you HELP!
