I received a letter on 6-26-13 stating that I was declared a winner of a mega lottery conducted in UK. I called the company and they told me to deposit a check that I got for 3990.00. When the person answered the phone he had a very strong indian accent. That was my first clue.
I took the information to the bank just to check it out. The letter will be sent to the FBI fraud division. I did not deposit the check because I remembered a scam a few years back just like this one.
