I gave him $1200 on 4-12-13 to build a closet and replace a window,
$1200 of it i had to borrow. He said the work would be done by 5-31-13.in the mean time i asked him if he could replace the outside spigot when he was here doing the other work, he said he could but he needed $75 more. He came and got the check for that on 4-29-13. I have been trying to get a hold of him on the phone since, but he does not answer, and when i leave a message he does not return calls. He also got my mom for $483, and she has been trying to get a hold of him on the phone, no answer, no returned calls. I sent a certified letter to him with no response, I filed a complain with the BBB, and they got no response, I also filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau, as did my mom, but have not heard anything as of 6-25-13.
