This is my second experience with AJ Richies. The first time, after I placed my order, I received an email stating that they had been trying to reach me and needed additional information before they could process my order. It was an opportunity to upsell and I immediately wrote a negative review. I got a phone call from them that night offering free stuff if I would remove the negative feedback. I said once I received my order and my free stuff I would do it. I had similar issues that other complaints refer to regarding the rude customer service…that is, if you can get to actually speak to someone. Thought it was a one-time thing. I just ordered another camera from them and got the same email message. When I called back, the CSR asked if I wanted the 2-hour battery ($100 more) or the 5-hour battery ($200 more). I said, “Huh? Are you telling me that it doesn’t come with a battery? ” I was told then that the camera came with a 30-minute battery. At that point I told him to cancel the order. He responded, “Good luck finding it cheaper.” I don’t mind paying more, as long as I’m dealing with someone honest.
