A female voice called me late November offering a pre-approved master card backed by $2500 credit line. This is to assist me have a credit record which I badly need for future reference. The voice told me that I would get a gateway model laptop computer free as part of their promotion.
She told me it would cost me $354.90 in processing fee, which will be drawn from my account. She asked for my account routing number which I refused to give until the computer and the card had been sent. She then asked for my account number as a proof of having a bank account. This I gave and the artist transfered me to her supervisor another lady by name Linda, who told me our conference was been taped. She told me I was qualified, and that I should expect my card and the computer two to three weeks time. On 12-20 I logged into my account for monthly account review.
I found out that one ISTLINKBEN of the phone 1-800-315-0356 had drawn the sum of $354.90 on 11/30/04. I called immediately their 800 number and a confirmation of the withdrawn sum was given and that a computer and my card were on the way. I waited.
On friday 12/24/04 at about 3 p. M I found in my mail a 2"x10"x12" parcel containing coupons. I have since been calling the 800 number with only recorded voice singing it's sad melody. I then tried to search the internet for the ID of FIRST LINK and there I was with the story of their injuries to the innocent ones.
So what do we do now? They can run but can't hide. The wronged are already too numerous to allow them escape justice in the land of the free.
