First Link Benefits called me at the end of August... I talked to a man named Mark Wilkins and he told me the company he worked for was doing a special promotion and i had been approved for a $2500 Master Card and as a special way of saying thanks. They were including a Gateway computer. He said it will take 21 days to process. I called on the 25 day and got a man that told me due to weather in florida, all shipments had been delayed as that is where computer was coming from.
2 weeks later i was told "packages" were being sent and some people had already received theirs. He assured me the credit card was pre-approved and on its way. Next i talked to a lady that said if i did not have it by Monday 4:30 call her back. THIS is where it gets bad... I called back on Monday got a very rude woman that stated there Is NO computer. It is a package and in the package is the option to PURCHASE the Gateway. BUT she assured me the credit card is real... WRONG i got my package 10-25-04 and it is a prepaid card Not a Credit card. The Gateway computer is only good if you sign up with an Internet company for 2 years @39.00 a month... IF credit approved...
Otherwise you have to pay $860.00 the computer is not work $860.00 There is also an offer for a FREE digital camera with 39.95 shipping/handling... Camera on Ebay is 12.50. An offer of a cell phone... When you sign up with some company... MOST reputable cell phone companies include a phone with service. I WAS TOLD there is NO refund... And I CANNOT talk to a supervisor unless i request it 24 hours prior... Then it is up to discretion of the supervisor as to When or IF they call me back. They did not ever return any calls i made to their voice mail
