Bank Of America offered me the positon and I accepted it. Now they took that position away and will not answer any of my phone calls

My name is Renata, and My story begans about Bank of America's Mid Atlantic Recruiter officer II Nikole Freeman.

Bank Of America, Nikole Freeman Officer Recruiter II Mid Atlantic Staffing, And Helene O. Stewart, Former Assistant Branch Manager, 3821 Minnesota Ave Ne Washington DC 202-624-4300 My name is Renata Wright and I was Ripped off by Nikole Freeman employment Recruiter officer II Mid Atlantic Staffing gave my position to another canidate after I passed the assesment test and interviewed with the acting manager at the branch she sent me too and the acting manager Helene Stewart offered me the positon and I accepted it. Ms. Freeman will not answer any of my phone calls

On the 30th of November I visited Bank Of America located at 3821 Minnesota Avenue N.E., Washington, D.C. 20019 to inquire about employment with the company. I spoke to Ms. Helene O. Stewart who is the acting manger and financial sales associate. Ms. Stewart gave me a flyer that listed testing dates and locations of where to go to take a assement test.

I went to the Bank of American, Iverson Mall Banking Center located at 3730 Branch ave in Hill Crest Heights Maryland. There I submitted my application along with my resume, and took the assesment test. The interviewer who administered the test told all applicants that was applying for a teller position that the qualifications were a high school diploma or GED, six months customer service experience, and excellent customer service skills.

Upon passing the assesment it takes approximately ten days for the result of your test, and if you passed the assesment your resume would be forwarded too Nikole Freeman Recruiter in charge of hiring for the teller positions. Ms. Freeman did contact me on my cell phone and congradulated me on passing the assesment and scheduled an interview with me on December 20th at 10:00am. I arrived on time and waited for about fifteen minutes to see Ms. Freeman. After meeting with her Ms. Freeman informed me that I had successfully passed my interview, and she had two placements for me, one which was at Boiling Air Force Base, and Minnesota Ave. Branch mentioned earlier.

I told Ms. Freeman that my first choice was Minnesota Ave, since I was very familar with the area. Ms. Freeman schedule an appointment for me too meet with Ms. Helene O. Stewart on December 21st 2004 at 8:00am before the branch opened since she sometimes has too help out on the teller line. I arrived at 7:58am, and met with Ms. Stewart who is a financial service representative since the bank has had no manager for several months.

Ms. Stewart told me that she was not feeling well, she thought to believe she was coming down with a cold or something. Ms. Stewart asked me general information about myself, and why I wanted to work for Bank of America. I gave her a copy of my resume, and explained that I have a extensive background in customer service, and I wanted a position that was going to be challenging as well as room for advancement. Ms. Stewart went on too talk about how difficult it has been in trying to get the part time teller position filled because no one wanted too work in the area.

Then Ms. Stewart went on too tell me how the young female tellers that work there fails to work together as a team and provide the customers that bank there quality customer service. Ms. Stewart then talked about how the regional office would not provide the branch what was needed to operate it effectively, and the branch has been in need of a manager for severl months. Ms. Stewart told me that she used too be a branch manager, but she gave it up based on the work it entailed, and that it had her stressed out and leaving the bank late in the evening which concerned her family.

Then Ms. Stewart explained to me the hours the branch operated, as well as the requirements that I would be required to meet, one being making a referal once daily to customers about other Bank of America's products and services. She Asked me if I was still interested in the position, she would call Ms. Freeman and have it arranged to start the next teller training class which have two locations. One being in spring field, Va and the other in Silver Spring, MD. She gave me her card to contact her regarding the teller training if I did not hear from Ms. Freeman in a timely matter.

I called Ms. Freeman that same day that I left my interview with Ms. Stewart, however Ms. Freeman's voice mail came on. After not hearing from Ms. Freeman by the 23rd of December, I called Ms. Stewart. Ms. Stewart informed me that she was absent from work on December 22nd, and she had not yet heard from Nikole Freeman, nor had a chance to speak with her. So my conversation ended with Ms. Stewart and with me trying to contact Ms. Freeman again, only to get her voice mail again.

So later that day of the 23rd, I decided to check my email.in my email Nikole Freeman informed me that she had spoken with Ms. Stewart, and that she has decided too hire another canidate. I called Ms. Freeman several times to inquire why was my position given too another canidate after she sent me to the branch of my choice that Iwanted to work, and after Ms. Stewart accepted me. To date Ms. Freeman will not return any of my calls, nor answer any of my emails.

'm just trying to find out what went wrong, especially after I successfully completed everything and was offered a job at the branch that I selected. I'm searching for answers on how to file a complaint against Bank of America, Ms. Freeman, and Ms. Stewart. This could even lead too legal action.
