This is listed as a non profit horse rescue, however this is not the case. The founder Sandra Jolene Venables is a felon who has done multiple prison terms mostly for fraud. The latest was for running fraudulent checks through Jolenes horse rescue which is now being called corral of comfort. The tax exempt status for jolenes horse rescue was revoked back in 2010. She does not rescue horses she steals horses and then claims not to have the authority to walk onto properties and confinscate animals. What a joke. I had to rescue horses off her property that were emaciated. Please help put a stop to the fraudulent claims of running a horse rescue this woman is running.
