Today Jeffery Wilson of J and J Horse Rescue was charged with four counts of animal cruelty. The Pennsylvania SPCA was called on numerous occasions, and SPCA officers found dead horses on the property. Necropsies revealed that all the horses died of starvation. He currently has thirteen horses, and judge Brian Edgecomb has ordered him to surrender six of them immediately.
