Rented a Budget truck in Hermiston OR. Auto Kool at 305 N 1st Street. Was damaged before we got it. Called budget repair 4/12 Braks, Steering, gas pedal, mirror mount. Service from Woodpecker arrived at 2 pm on 4/15 Budget Fleet service refused to fix. First day out 4/16 we lost break's, steering, overheated, no power, Air cleaner plugged so hard compressed air would not clean it. Headlight's not working. We had taken out damage waver for $162.00. Held up at our expense in Yreka CA for two days. No help from Budget. They finally said we were 400lb overweight. No weight markings any where on vehicle. Debited my bank account to 600.00 overdraft. No overdraft protection with Community Bank Heppner OR. They should not have payed anything. Not known yet how much they paid them Still haven't got a Monthly statement yet. Sent letters to Mr. Nelson He will not respond or make any thing right. Vehicle was not serviced or inspected in Two years. Last in 2011 Federal law requires every year. WE had to rent a U Haul at our expense to get to AZ. Budget still will not recognize the paid insurance of waver. Now the want $1168.96 more. Lost 5 days of travel time at our expense..
