Cancel your MuliPlan or Total Plan discount card ASAP before your first 30 days. Just like all the other complaints, I too had to find out the hard way. The company MultiPlan is only a DISCOUNT CARD. WHAT A SCAM! I've been paying $100 a month for the past year for nothing! They did not cover regular standard doctor check ups, blood work, physical, nothing! They used their obvious routine "excuse", that I was selected for an investigation for any prior preexisting problems. And I explained to the phone rep that my visits were only normal check-ups, nothing that lasted longer than 10 minutes in the doctors office. They wanted to know any and all doctors I've seen in the last year, phones numbers, addresses, everything. That was a huge RED FLAG for me, I mean what legit insurance company does that?! Slowly I started to receive letters in the mail from MULTIPLAN, funny thing is they couldn't even send any information about whats covered but they sure send me the bills. The top of every statement read "This is Not a Bill" which was true on their behalf, because the doctors office sends you the same exact dollar amount their statement says is not a bill with roughly of the bill discounted. They wont cover hardly anything, I'm going to seek legal action if at all possible. That's just going to be another expense.
